Today in class we talked about the different types of religions practiced that make a certain point on Earth unique. First we talked about Islamic countries only being able to practice Islam and how there laws come straight out of the Quran while in the U.S. you can practice any religion but we have state laws and church laws. In the U.S we follow church laws which would be like the Ten Commandments but we still have to follow the laws put in place by the government. Even though we have church laws and state laws, the laws of the constitution branch off of the Ten Commandments like, “Thou shall not kill.” After we talked about the different religious laws and practices our class got off topic, we started talking about the different types of murder and how you could get charged with those different types of murder. I found it really interesting how you can get charged with murder so quickly. It mad me realize that you have to be really careful with everything you do because it could cost someone there life like drinking and driving. Overall, class today was very interesting.
